Please join us for a Rake the Lake volunteer event! 
Rain date will be the  same time on November 16th.

We will meet at Veteran’s Memorial beach -- bring rakes if you have them! Volunteers will help clear leaves and exposed weeds from the shoreline at Memorial Beach and Community Center Beach.

Leaf litter contains phosphorus that drives cyanobacteria blooms. As they decay, they form a nutrient rich “muck” that fuels weed growth. The lake committee (LLMAC) is leading this event, and also kindly asking lakefront residents to rake the leaves out of the water near their shoreline, and away from the shore, annually.
